Longtime Club Member Linda Kerwin Named President

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce Linda Kerwin as our new club president.

Linda is a longtime member of the Buffalo Skating Club and has served as a member of the Board of Directors for several years. Linda is Dean of Allied Health and Professions at Trocaire College and a Registered Professional Nurse with a long list of certifications. She is the past manager of the Buffalo Blades synchronized ice skating team; commissioner practitioner, Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP); school consultant, Accreditation Review Council on Education in Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (ARC-STSA); former vice president, New York Association of Surgical Technologists; past board trustee, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of America (Western New York and Finger Lakes Chapters); and recruitment coordinator, National Marrow Donor Program and Umbilical Cord Blood Registry.

Linda succeeds Jennifer Berdine, who stepped down from the Board of Directors last month. We are grateful to Jenn for her years of service to the club as a member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee and wish her well in her ongoing and future pursuits.
